June 2011
Technically, I registered onto YouTube in May with this idea, and I had the idea a few weeks before then before actually using it. But June first, was the day that I signed on my first artist to the original Dubstep Hub, which was nothing more than a compilation of many artists on one channel to make cool music.
Arion was the first artist I ever signed on, and he won an award recently for the best new artist of 2011, so apparently I had a good ear for music ^_^ I only wish I'd have been able to sign him onto the Hub, but I'm glad he followed his ambition and succeeded.
And as a side note, his Pokemon dubstep track is still the most popular ever put on my YouTube channel, though maybe the release EP will change that ^_^

After signing on Arion, I signed on a guy named n4m3z0rz, who made dubstep for fun and only ever released two songs. Both his songs are a raw, unrefined feel... and personally, I think it's pretty badass. I don't know why he stopped releasing, but he's always been pretty cool.
